Club Activities

Though the primary purpose of the Placentia Round Table Women’s Club is philanthropic, besides working on fundraising projects, we also have a lot of fun activities we enjoy doing together. Some of those activities are called “Sections”. These are smaller groups of PRT members who share a common interest. Most groups meet during the club year, while some meet all year long.

Meeting: 3rd Thursday of the Month – 2:00 p.m.

Chair: Kim Deweese

This group is for those who love to read. They meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday to discuss a previously selected book.

Meeting: 2nd Wednesday of the Month – 10:00 a.m.

Chairs: Lynne Buzdar & Mary Kay McMahon

As the name implies, members in this Section enjoy playing Bridge together in the mornings of the 2nd Wednesdays of each
month.

Meeting: 2nd Wednesday of the Month – 1:00pm

Chair: Pam Horn

This is a fun and easy-to-learn dice game played monthly for a couple hours in the afternoon on the 2nd Wednesdays.

Meeting: 4th Wednesday of the Month – 11:30 a.m.

Chairs: Bonnie Carren & Kim Deweese

Loving to eat out with friends is what these ladies enjoy. They meet for lunch monthly on the 4th Wednesday at different local restaurants for food and fun conversation.

Meetings: 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the Month – 10:00 a.m.

Chair: Stephanie Leon

This group of ladies enjoy writing and then meet together to share what they have written. They meet on both the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.

This is our last fun gathering before the summer break. We enjoy good conversation, wonderful music, delicious food, laughter, games, and sometimes a bit of dancing!
